Five By Two started booking local shows about seven years ago, when it was clear that young people were struggling to find real venues at which to perform their music.  Sunday afternoon at an empty rock club was not what the kids wanted or needed, so we built trusted relationships with venue owners who saw the value in investing in the youth of the local scene, and providing a place to play on an occasional Friday or Saturday or Sunday night for all - artists and attendees. This is what is meant by All Ages Or Nothing*

Those photos above? Done by Coleman Rogers, a master photographer. A fascinating and kind and wonderful and talented human. My favorite thing about him, though? He would come shoot local shows whenever he was free, and he would insist on paying a cover charge because he wanted to give his support. Who does that? Beautiful humans do that.
